Future Week

Future Week is Media City Bergen's annual conference on media technology and editorial innovation. Newsrooms, technologists and researchers meet in the Atlantis hall at Media City Bergen, with speakers from the BBC, NRK, TV 2, DR and SVT, among others.

The conference stays close to the industry: from panels where the technology chiefs of the Nordic broadcasters share the stage, to talks on AI, verification and the news formats of the future. Some years, the programme has also spread out into the city and to Oslo and Stavanger.

For us, Future Week is about building a stage as modern as the content – with screens, lighting and flow that make it easy for the audience to keep up, both in the room and on the stream.
