Red Bull Symphonic: Kamelen x BFUng

Packed Grieghallen facing the orchestra and light beams at Red Bull Symphonic

When Kamelen meets the symphony orchestra, things go off with a bang – quite literally.

In Red Bull Symphonic, the Bergen rapper joined forces with the Bergen Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (BFUng) in a concert that blew apart both genre boundaries and expectations.

More than a hundred musicians on stage created a unique fusion of hip hop and classical music, with beats, strings and brass in perfect chaos. Grieghallen was buzzing – the audience danced, cheered and lived every beat.

Kulturoperatørene produced the event in collaboration with Red Bull Norway, making sure that everything from rigging and tech to running order and production ran seamlessly – in perfect harmony.
