Nor-Shipping opening ceremony

Nor-Shipping is one of the world's largest maritime trade fairs, bringing together around 35,000 participants from more than 75 countries in Oslo and Lillestrøm every other year. Together with Viking, we produced the opening of Nor-Shipping 2019 – combined with the naming of Viking Jupiter in Oslo harbour.

The stage featured a-ha, Andrea Bocelli, Sølvguttene and Sissel Kyrkjebø, who was also the ship's godmother. The evening ended with a huge fireworks display set to a live orchestra.

Events on this scale take more than a stage and lights. We coordinated with the Port of Oslo and Akershus Fortress, worked with the police, drew up safety and emergency plans, and looked after guests, artists, sound, lighting and cameras.
